England has announced its 19-man squad for the upcoming final Ashes Test against Australia, with Joe Burgess potentially making his first international appearance in ten years. The 31-year-old Hull KR winger last played for England in 2015 and has been selected by coach Shaun Wane to face the Kangaroos on Saturday at AMT Headingley in Leeds.
The selection comes as England, having lost the first two matches of the three-game series, will be without wing Dom Young due to a broken foot. Meanwhile, Australia's squad features one change to its starting XIII, with captain Isaah Yeo returning to the loose forward position after missing the second Test following a head injury assessment. This adjustment sees Patrick Carrigan move to the front row and Lindsay Collins shift to the bench, reverting Australia to their first Test line-up.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 14:30 GMT and will be broadcast live on BBC One.
