Angelina Jolie has submitted a new declaration to the Los Angeles Superior Court, providing her perspective on the ongoing legal proceedings concerning her divorce from Brad Pitt and their dispute over the Château Miraval estate in France.
In the court document, Jolie characterized the period following their separation as “emotionally difficult” and “traumatic.” She further stated that after filing for divorce, she voluntarily relinquished control of both their Los Angeles residence and the Château Miraval to Pitt, without compensation, with the intention of de-escalating tensions.
The declaration was filed in response to Pitt’s demand for private communications related to the Miraval property. Additionally, Jolie has requested that Pitt cover $33,000 in legal fees, which she claims were incurred while addressing his motion.
