Mohammed Kudus, a Ghana international, recently scored his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur since joining the club for £55m from West Ham this summer.

The midfielder netted the winning goal in a 2-1 Premier League victory against Leeds United at Elland Road. This goal follows his contribution of four Premier League assists for the team.

In the same match against Leeds, Kudus also provided an assist for Mathys Tel’s opening goal. Manager Thomas Frank acknowledged “big expectations” for Kudus, describing him as the team’s “best offensive player so far.”

Pundit Wayne Rooney commented on Kudus’s “really good start” to his Tottenham career and the significance of his debut goal. Kudus stated that scoring boosts an attacker’s confidence, calling it a “step in the right direction.”
