Addressing previous remarks by Dulquer Salmaan concerning the need to "earn" his father's participation, Mammootty stated that he was not officially approached for an acting role in the production.
Instead, his contribution to the film was limited to lending his voice. This request was reportedly made by Dulquer Salmaan's manager, who is also identified as a friend.
