Police have confirmed that one individual died after being accidentally shot by armed officers responding to an attack outside a synagogue in north Manchester. Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited the Greater Manchester Police headquarters, where he expressed gratitude to emergency services personnel and characterized the incident as 'a dreadful attack, a terrorist attack to inflict fear.' Among those injured in the attack was an employee of the Community Security Trust (CST), an organization that provides security for the Jewish community. A vigil for the victims is scheduled to be held.
