The Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMS&R) conducted its graduation ceremony on Saturday, celebrating the undergraduate batch of 2019 and the postgraduate batch of 2021. During the event, 100 undergraduates received their MBBS degrees, while 34 postgraduates were awarded MD/MS degrees. Degrees were formally conferred by B.S. Murty, Director of IIT Hyderabad, and Dr. P.V. Nanda Kumar Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.
Academic distinctions were recognized, with Dr. Anudeep Subba Rao and Dr. G. Navya Reddy from the Department of Psychiatry securing the 3rd and 5th university ranks, respectively. Student accolades included Afreen Begum, who received the Dr. Pratap C Reddy’s gold medal and the Dr. K V R Prasad Memorial gold medal for the best outgoing undergraduate student. Dr. Anudeep Subba Rao was also honored with the Dr. Pratap C Reddy’s gold medal for the best outgoing postgraduate student.
Notable attendees included Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, Dean Dr. K. Manohar, and Chief Operating Officer Aparna Reddy.
