The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) celebrations, scheduled for October 31 at the Statue of Unity, will include a parade by armed forces and a fly-past by the Indian Air Force (IAF). According to an official release, the parade will feature 16 contingents representing various central armed police forces and state police. Additionally, 16 medal-winning soldiers from the Border Security Force (BSF) and five Shaurya Chakra awardees from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) are slated to participate in an open jeep. The IAF's fly-past will be conducted under Operation Surya Kiran.
Following these observances, a Bharat Parv will be organized at Ekta Nagar from November 1 to 15. This 15-day event aims to showcase India’s diversity through cultural performances from two different states each evening. The Bharat Parv celebrations are set to conclude with a Cyclothon event at the Statue of Unity.
