Noida Police initiated an operation on Thursday evening, acting on information regarding an alleged online betting operation linked to T20 World Cup matches. The tip-off led a police team to Flat No. 1003 in Tower F of the Civitech Stadia society, Sector 79. Upon gaining entry, officers reportedly discovered what they described as a "control room," equipped with numerous mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. A Zoom call was allegedly in progress, which police indicated was being used to coordinate wagers on the semifinal match between India and England.
