An incident occurred Monday night in Pimpri Chinchwad when an unidentified individual ascended a 132 kV high-tension power transmission tower. Reported by local residents around 9:15 PM in the Yamuna Nagar area on Nigdi Talawade Road, the event prompted an emergency response from police and fire brigade teams. Authorities attempted to communicate with the individual, described as a man presumed to be in his 20s and reportedly mentally unstable. As a critical safety measure to facilitate the rescue, the transmission supply was shut down. Fire brigade personnel ultimately succeeded in bringing the man down from the tower.
