Police in Sitaphalmandi have launched an investigation following an incident on Friday evening where a group of men from Pittalabasti allegedly entered a local restaurant. The men reportedly confronted and threatened the establishment's manager, accusing the restaurant of selling beef and influencing young people in their area to consume it.
According to police, the group demanded the restaurant cease operations until they could communicate with the owner, who was reportedly in Kerala. Staff were also warned against continuing business in the interim. The Osmania University police have registered a case, and the suspects are currently unidentified.
