The Thiruvananthapuram City Police announced the arrest of two individuals, Sabu (36) and Remya (36), in Kovalam on Sunday. The arrests followed the alleged discovery of 196 grams of MDMA during a morning vehicle inspection.
The District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) intercepted a car, which had traveled from Bengaluru, around 7:30 a.m. based on a received tip. The substance, estimated to hold a black market value of ₹10 lakh, was reportedly found concealed within a plastic cover beneath Remya’s slippers.
