However, Israel has denied this characterization of the agreement. The proposed plan outlines that approximately 20 Israeli hostages would be exchanged for 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences in Israel and 1,700 Gazans detained during the conflict. This exchange is expected to occur approximately three days after Israel formally ratifies a cease-fire. It remains unclear whether Hamas will disarm as part of the agreement.
