Saudi Arabian football club Al-Nassr is scheduled to play FC Goa in India on October 22 as part of the AFC Champions League 2. Local media reports indicate that the club's captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, will reportedly not travel with the squad for this match at the Fatorda Stadium. According to Saudi Arabia’s sports newspaper Al Riyadhiah, his anticipated absence is linked to a contractual clause allowing him to select participation in games outside of Saudi Arabia, alongside a focus on workload management ahead of next year's World Cup. Despite multiple requests from FC Goa, Ronaldo is not expected to feature in the fixture. Al-Nassr and FC Goa are in the same group of this second-tier continental competition and are scheduled to face each other twice.
