Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently commented on the developmental trajectory of Andhra Pradesh following the formation of the government by the TDP and its allies, the JSP and BJP, in June 2024. He characterized the state as undergoing substantial transformation and drew attention to ongoing infrastructure initiatives.
Naidu stated that Amaravati, designated as the state's greenfield capital, is anticipated to become a highly liveable city, with projects valued at approximately ₹60,000 crore currently underway. The Chief Minister attributed the state's rapid revitalization from what he described as a 2019-2024 disruption to the decisive mandate secured by the NDA in the 2024 elections. He underscored a renewed emphasis on attracting investments, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leading contender in this area.
Furthermore, Naidu articulated his government's dedication to maintaining a balance among welfare, development, and good governance. He also highlighted the state's advancements in leveraging emerging technologies such as Quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and drones, asserting Andhra Pradesh's pioneering role in these sophisticated fields.
