City Union Bank (CUB) has established a partnership with the Employees’ Provident Fund Office (EPFO) to facilitate the remittance of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) payments. The new service, officially launched in Chennai by CUB Executive Director R. Vijay Anandh and Regional PF Commissioner Tamil Nadu Maneesh Agnihotri, enables employers with CUB accounts to conduct EPF remittances electronically through net banking. This initiative is primarily focused on serving Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the bank’s network. CUB has also indicated plans to train its staff on the new remittance procedures.
