The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a supplementary prosecution complaint under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against businessman Robert Vadra, husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
According to agency sources, the complaint, submitted to Rouse Avenue Court on November 15, 2025, alleges Mr. Vadra's involvement with United Kingdom-based arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari. The agency claims Mr. Vadra assisted Mr. Bhandari and utilized a property at 12 Bryanston Square, London, which is identified as "proceeds of crime."
The ED further alleged that Mr. Vadra recorded the London property for his personal use, was in possession of proceeds of crime, and oversaw its interior renovations, despite Mr. Bhandari's purchase and subsequent changes in ownership. Mr. Bhandari was declared a fugitive economic offender by a Delhi court in July. This latest complaint follows previous ED submissions in Mr. Bhandari’s case and an earlier prosecution complaint filed against Mr. Vadra in July regarding alleged irregularities in a land deal in Shikohpur, Haryana.
