These changes are said to have significantly altered the interior identity of the residence, which was previously the site where accuser Virginia Giuffre and others allege they endured sexual assault and harassment.
Giuffre's memoir details a specific "massage room" within the property, describing it as featuring "black-lacquered cabinetry, bloodred carpets, a huge taxidermied tiger and a custom-made chess set whose pieces were scantily clad women." She alleges that Epstein frequently raped her in this room between 2000 and 2002. Reports indicate that Epstein's third-floor bedroom has not been included in the current renovation work. Furthermore, Giuffre has publicly accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse on multiple occasions, linking these events to her alleged trafficking by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
