The film Kantara Chapter 1 has achieved a global box office collection exceeding ₹503 crore as of its ninth day of release. Domestically, the film’s earnings have reached approximately ₹360 crore within the same period. On its ninth day alone, Kantara Chapter 1 recorded an estimated ₹22 crore in collections. This daily figure includes ₹7.75 crore from Kannada screenings, ₹7 crore from Hindi, ₹2.5 crore from Tamil, ₹3.25 crore from Telugu, and ₹1.85 crore from Malayalam. The film is currently running in over 7300 shows nationwide, with Hindi screenings accounting for 3700 shows and Kannada for approximately 1300.
