The United Kingdom is observing its National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London, where King Charles III is leading a two-minute silence at 11:00 GMT. He is joined by senior members of the Royal Family and political figures, including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

Remembrance Sunday, observed annually on the closest Sunday to Armistice Day (November 11) to commemorate the end of World War One in 1918, includes a march-past involving approximately 10,000 armed forces veterans, alongside around 20 World War Two veterans. Prime Minister Starmer emphasized honoring the "extraordinary courage" of armed forces personnel in past and present conflicts.

Preceding the main service, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince George, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended the annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening. Sir Keir Starmer and his wife also attended the event, which this year marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
