A free medical camp, organized by the Dr. Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy Vikasit Bharat Trust (Dr. NSKC VBT), was held at QIS Engineering College in Ongole on Monday, October 13, 2025. Approximately 700 people, including drivers, workers, teachers, and students, attended the event to receive various health screenings.
Services provided at the camp included blood pressure, sugar, heart-related tests, and eye check-ups. Additionally, free medicines valued at approximately ₹30,000 were distributed to patients.
The medical camp was a collaborative effort with KIMS Hospitals and the NSS Wing of QIS Engineering College. Dr. N. Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy, founder of Dr. NSKC VBT and Co-Convenor of the Andhra Pradesh State BJP Cell, stated that the initiative aimed to contribute to society, inspired by efforts to prioritize education and healthcare as part of the “Viksit Bharat” vision. KIMS Hospital authorities also announced that they would offer a 50% discount on relevant tests conducted at their facility.
Attendees at the event included Dr. Ramanjaneyulu and Dr. M. Varshita from KIMS Hospital, and Dr. Y.V. Hanumantha Rao, Principal of QIS Engineering College.
