Bajwa sought the formation of a house committee to investigate pre-flood drain and water body cleaning operations. In a counter-argument, Minister Goyal demanded Bajwa’s resignation, refuting Bajwa’s claim of 7 lakh cusecs of water released from Ranjit Sagar Dam and stating the figure was approximately 2.15 lakh cusecs.
