A Russian national, Yulia, recently shared her perspectives on various Indian cities via an Instagram post, identifying Bengaluru as her preferred choice for residence.
In her assessment, Yulia cited Bengaluru's climate, describing it as "sunny, warm, and green," as a primary factor. She contrasted this with other major urban centers, noting that Delhi and Jaipur presented colder winter conditions, while Chennai and Mumbai experienced higher temperatures. While acknowledging a perceived change in Bengaluru's weather over the past decade, with air conditioning becoming more commonly used, she maintained her positive view of its climate, informed by her upbringing in Siberia where temperatures can reach minus 50°C.
Beyond climate, Yulia also highlighted Bengaluru's culture and its reputation as "the pub capital of India." Her observations have subsequently generated online attention and discussion among social media users.
