The United Democratic Front (UDF) has finalized its seat-sharing arrangement among alliance partners for the upcoming Kozhikode district panchayat elections. As announced by UDF district chairman K. Balanarayanan and convener Ahammed Punnakkal, the Congress party will contest 14 of the total 28 divisions. The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has been allocated 11 divisions. Furthermore, the Kerala Congress, Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI), and Communist Marxist Party (CMP) will each field candidates in one division. It was also noted that the Welfare Party of India, which participated in a tactical alliance during the 2020 elections, has not been assigned any division in the current agreement.
