BJP Leaders Address Public on AAP Governance in Punjab Bypoll Campaign

During an election campaign rally held for a bypoll scheduled for November 11, leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) directed criticism towards the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress in Punjab. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar alleged that the AAP had misled voters with unfulfilled promises from the 2022 Assembly elections. They further claimed a betrayal of public trust and the promotion of corruption within the state.

Saini contrasted the AAP's tenure with the BJP government in Haryana, stating that it had fulfilled most of its promises over three terms. Jakhar specifically raised concerns regarding the law and order situation in Punjab under the AAP administration, citing instances of alleged gangsterism and extortion calls. Both leaders also accused the Congress of implementing "anti-people policies" that they claimed hindered the state's progress, asserting that the public would no longer be deceived by their promises.
