The CII Partnership Summit is scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on November 14-15. This event marks the fourth occasion Andhra Pradesh has hosted the summit, with previous editions occurring in Visakhapatnam in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting with officials to assess administrative preparedness. He stated that the summit aims to enhance Andhra Pradesh’s brand image, attract investments, highlight global technological transformation, strengthen international trust and trade, and prioritize Visakhapatnam’s beautification. Officials were directed to invite global leaders, CEOs, industrialists, and policy thinkers.
The summit’s theme is “Technology, Trust, Trade – Navigating the Geo-Economic Order,” and it will feature 13 sessions. These sessions are set to cover a range of topics including trade, geo-economic frameworks, technology and innovation, defence, aerospace, healthcare, biotechnology, smart manufacturing, logistics, supply chain management, sustainability, clean energy, and leveraging technology. Anticipated participants include 29 Commerce Ministers, 80 foreign CEOs, delegates from 40 countries, and 13 Union Ministers. Minister Nara Lokesh has reportedly conducted roadshows in various countries to extend invitations to foreign delegates.
