Goa’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has confirmed that 88 out of 97 eligible voters, initially excluded from the electoral roll, have been re-enrolled. These individuals successfully submitted Form 6, a requirement for fresh voter inclusion.
The remaining nine voters from the excluded list are accounted for: three hold Portuguese passports, and six are currently living outside India. Efforts are underway by officials to contact those residing abroad for further action.
This development follows a special intensive revision exercise that led to the exclusion of these voters. The CEO’s office stated that the 88 re-included voters had their Form 6 applications accepted.
