The Israeli military (IDF) has confirmed that a ceasefire agreement has taken effect in the Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, Israeli troops have retreated to deployment lines agreed upon as part of the ceasefire terms.
In related developments, Israel’s Army Radio has reported that Israel plans to permit the entry of 600 aid trucks into Gaza daily. Concurrently, displaced Palestinian families have been observed moving along the coastal road near Wadi Gaza and towards Gaza City.
