Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna, who also holds the position of Legal Advisor to the Chief Minister, recently submitted a memorandum to Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy in Bengaluru. During the meeting, Mr. Ponnanna was joined by office-bearers from the Kodagu District Auto Owners’ and Drivers’ Association. The memorandum outlined various transportation issues within the Virajpet assembly constituency and included a key plea to grant district permits to all autorickshaws operating in Kodagu district. Additionally, the proposals advocated for the establishment of an Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) in Virajpet taluk and a vehicle inspection camp in Ponnampet.
