An incident involving an allegedly inebriated passenger occurred on October 20, 2025, aboard Akasa Air flight QP 1599, scheduled for departure from Bengaluru to Delhi. Reports indicate that the individual created a disturbance shortly after boarding, engaging in disputes with both co-passengers and the flight crew. When asked to disembark, the passenger reportedly refused, leading to the involvement of security personnel. The individual was subsequently physically removed from the aircraft and reportedly had an additional altercation with CISF personnel.

Akasa Air confirmed the event, stating that its crew followed all required safety protocols and reiterated the airline's zero-tolerance policy towards unruly passenger behavior. Proceedings have reportedly been initiated with the aim of placing the passenger on a no-fly list.
