A weather system forming over the southeast Bay of Bengal is expected to strengthen into a cyclonic storm before moving towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. However, it is predicted to weaken into a deep depression by the time it reaches Telangana.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the system is forecast to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast on the morning of November 3. While it may intensify over the Bay of Bengal, its strength is expected to diminish as it moves inland.
Officials from the IMD Hyderabad stated that Telangana is unlikely to experience the full impact of a cyclonic storm, as the system will weaken considerably. The state is anticipated to receive light to moderate rainfall from November 2 to 4, with isolated heavy showers possible on November 3 and 4.
Specific districts, including Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal, are likely to see heavy rainfall on November 2. Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts may also experience heavy rainfall on November 3. Hyderabad is expected to have light to moderate rainfall during this period.
