The western Ukrainian city of Ternopil was subjected to an overnight Russian strike, which has led to a confirmed rise in casualties. The Ukrainian interior ministry reported that the incident resulted in 25 fatalities and 73 injuries. The death toll for these overnight attacks across Ukraine had progressively risen, with initial reports indicating 19 killed, later increasing to 20, including two children, before the latest update. In response to these events, Ukrainian foreign minister Andrii Sybiha announced that Ukraine plans to bring the issue of the Russian attacks before an upcoming United Nations Security Council meeting.
