Elon Musk: Public Statements and Online Platform Development

Recent reports indicate that Elon Musk has maintained a significant level of engagement in political discourse, coinciding with a reported decline in his personal approval ratings across multiple surveys. His activities have included cultivating relationships with various international political figures and making an appearance at a campaign rally for the Alternative for Germany party.

In recent months, Musk's interactions have expanded to include direct engagement with nativist political activists and influencers on the X platform. His public statements, such as "You either fight back or you die," have drawn criticism, notably from Downing Street, which condemned the remarks as potentially inciting violence. The acquisition of Twitter by Musk in 2022 has also been observed by some as beneficial to certain right-wing groups in the UK.

Concurrently, Musk has overseen the development of online platforms and tools that align with a conservative perspective. This includes his claims regarding the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), alleging they "hate Christians" and "encouraged murder," while also sharing posts from right-wing influencers critical of the group. Furthermore, Musk’s AI company, xAI, launched "Grokipedia" last month, which he has promoted as a superior and unbiased alternative to Wikipedia.
