Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Sunny Joseph spoke to reporters in Kannur on Sunday, September 21, regarding the Ayyappa Sangamam event organized by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)).
Mr. Joseph alleged that the CPI(M)’s event was politically motivated and asserted it concluded as a failure. He supported this claim by referencing visuals released by the Congress, which he stated depicted a low turnout. Furthermore, he claimed that the CPI(M) utilized the Ayyappa Sangamam for political purposes, thereby violating the sanctity and established rituals of Sabarimala.
