A Turkish military cargo plane crashed in Georgia on Tuesday, resulting in the fatalities of all 20 personnel on board. Turkey's defense minister confirmed the casualties. The incident occurred near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border, where search, rescue, and investigation teams are currently conducting operations.
Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze indicated that details regarding the accident would be released in stages, in coordination with Turkish authorities, due to military sensitivities. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has since confirmed the recovery of the plane's black box.
