During a recent address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), alleging that their actions posed a threat to Bihar’s honor and identity. He expressed concerns about the safety of women in Bihar and other states, attributing these concerns to the opposition parties. Modi further accused Congress and RJD of endangering the resources and security of both Bihar and the nation, predicting electoral repercussions from women voters in the upcoming Bihar polls.
The Prime Minister also highlighted his government’s focus on Bihar’s development, connecting the progress of regions like Purnia and Seemanchal to national advancement. He referenced a past pledge to establish a National Makhana Board, stating that previous administrations had neglected fox nut farming and its farmers. Modi alleged that certain parties, which he claimed had exploited Bihar for decades, were resistant to the state’s development pace. He cited a social media comparison of Bihar to a “beedi” by a Congress ally as an example of perceived animosity towards the state.
